Description: The Tobacco Basslet originates from the Caribbean, and is an orange-brown fish with a white, silver mottled pattern along the body. This fish is generally peaceful and great for beginner aquarists in the hobby. This fish is reef safe and will not bother corals, but may go after crustaceans and small fish that can fit in its mouth. The Tobacco Basslet will appreciate a diet consisting a variety of meaty foods with plenty of rockwork to hide amongst in the tank. It is not recommended to mix this fish with other basslets.
