On the upcoming January 18th, at “Intex Osaka”, Biozipcode, Inc., a subsidiary of our company, will participate in Japan’s largest medical field exhibition, “Medical & Care & Pharmacy Week Osaka” (commonly known as Medical Japan). Professor Hideto Kojima, the Head of Research and Development at Biozipcode, Inc., and a special professor at the National University Corporation Shiga University of Medical Science, will deliver a 30-minute lecture explaining the company’s endeavors in developing a cure for diabetes.

Professor Hideto Kojima has discovered abnormal stem cells that are a cause of the incurability of diabetes. Biozipcode, Inc. is focusing on these abnormal stem cells to develop groundbreaking pharmaceuticals that can completely cure diabetes. This drug, through the repositioning of existing drugs, significantly shortens the development period and is aimed to be marketed as an oral medication. It will enable many diabetes patients to receive treatment through regular visits and is also aimed at being widely distributed in developing countries. In this lecture, Professor Kojima will explain his approach based on his passionate vision as a medical doctor.
