LAB TO LIFE

Bringing university research into care that reaches patients.

Biozipcode, Inc. is a research-driven biotech company built on joint research with universities. We aim to turn research findings into new diagnostic and therapeutic technologies for use in healthcare.

Our research and development focuses on diabetes stem cell research into abnormal hematopoietic stem cells thought to contribute to the difficulty of treating diabetes, and on Biozipcode™ cell-targeting technology, which uses short peptides that recognize specific cells and tissues.

Our role goes beyond publishing research findings. We develop them into intellectual property, diagnostic technologies, therapeutic candidates, and medical materials, and work with pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and healthcare providers to bring them into clinical use.

RESEARCH COLLABORATION

Joint Research with Kyoto University

Since April 2026, we have been conducting joint research with Kyoto University’s industry–academia joint research department, the Department of Biocommunication Development.

Our research theme is “Development of Cell-Targeted Therapies”, aiming to develop new diagnostic and therapeutic technologies for difficult-to-treat conditions, including diabetes and cancer, by applying technology that selectively recognizes cells and tissues.

We connect academic research at the university with our work in intellectual property, business development, clinical development, manufacturing partnerships, and regulatory affairs to bring research findings into practical use.
