On January 18 next year, Hideto Kojima, Head of Research and Development at our subsidiary Biozipcode, Inc. and Distinguished Professor at Shiga University of Medical Science, will deliver a 30-minute presentation at Medical, Elderly Care & Pharmacy Week Osaka (commonly known as MEDICAL JAPAN), one of Japan’s largest medical exhibitions, held at INTEX Osaka. As outlined below, the presentation will introduce Biozipcode’s efforts to develop therapeutics aimed at curing diabetes.

Hideto Kojima has discovered abnormal stem cells that prevent diabetes from being cured.
By focusing on these abnormal stem cells, Biozipcode, Inc. is working to develop an innovative therapeutic aimed at curing diabetes.
By repurposing an existing drug, we aim to significantly shorten the development timeline and bring the treatment to market as an oral medication, enabling many patients with diabetes to receive treatment on an outpatient basis. We also aim to make the treatment widely available in developing countries. This presentation will explain these efforts and the vision and passion that drive Hideto Kojima as a physician.
